SmartGuide travel guide & map App Reviews

The idea is rather good and the UI is pretty good but the problem is that it continually crashes. Navigating back to the main page...crashes. Clicking on a collection...crashes. Crash, crash, crash. And when it comes back on, it starts all over again from the main page without returning you to the city you were researching. Annoying to the point of being unusable.

the information re sights and things to do seems to be generally better than on fully free services like TripAdvisor but the app lacks sufficient synching possibilities between different devices (iPhone to iPad and vice versa)

Going to Dallas at the end of the month. It literally gives me 2 places to eat, and 1 place to shop. Good thing Im going with a native. Otherwise if I relied on this app, Id be pretty bored, and go hungry fast.

This might be a great app but because it doesnt launch, Ill never know.

...please add countries/states to the cities. For example, Zurich should say Zurich, Switzerland. If you dont know the geography of every city in the guides, you may not know what youre looking at.

I thought this would help me plan a trip to Los Angeles but it mainly is a teaser to buy the premium app. No thanks.

I bought the Moscow guide. From my account removed $6, but the guide was not downloaded. Please, return my money!

I love that I can download the information for offline use.

Constantly uses th notifications screen to get you try to purchase stuff. Even AFTER youve purchased the content for the country you are in. Very annoying and also against App Store rules.

Nice guides but their giveaways dont transfer to a new device. They cant be restored. Not thrilled with paying for any guides after this. They give away "free" guides and then take them back!

A must have app when traveling to countries where you dont have a data plan. Offline maps work great and guided me all across Europe. Sometimes it can be hard to find wifi and Trip Wolf fills that gap by working completely offline. Also has great information on sights and good restaurant recommendations.

I had a chance to use this app when I was completely lost in Napoli and needed offline directions. It was amazing. Took me the best way to where I was able to see many things but get there in a great amount of time. Looking forward to using it in Rome and other Italian locations!

I started using Trip Wolf on our trip to Scandinavia last year. So helpful for mass transit options, museums, and overall mapping. I ordered the complete set, so am using it for all our domestic and international destinations. Now prepping for Rome, Milan and Naples.

Buy the unlimited. Well worth it.

Ill be using this for my Europe trips but Im also finding it useful for my home town as well.... It doesnt have everything, I still use other apps as supplements

Have subscribed to the full version for more than a year now and love it. Great for planning a trip, during a trip or arm-chair traveling. Hits all the right areas with easy navigation.
